What Is Full Arch Rehabilitation?

Full arch rehabilitation replaces all teeth in the upper or lower jaw with a permanent, implant-supported restoration. This comprehensive solution is ideal for patients with extensive tooth loss, failing teeth, or those wanting to replace uncomfortable dentures.

Several techniques are available, each suited to different clinical situations. Dr Ope will assess your bone density, jaw anatomy, and personal goals to recommend the optimal approach.

Unlike traditional dentures, full arch implant restorations are fixed permanently in place. They look, feel, and function like natural teeth, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile with complete confidence.

Patient Story

Hear from a patient who transformed their smile with full arch treatment.

My case was complex. I needed orthodontics, root canal treatment and then All-on-4. The result is life-changing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is full arch rehabilitation?
Full arch rehabilitation replaces all teeth in the upper or lower jaw with a fixed implant-supported bridge. This provides a complete, permanent solution for patients with extensive tooth loss or failing teeth.
Which full arch option is right for me?
The best option depends on your bone density, jaw size, and personal preferences. All-on-4 uses four implants per arch, All-on-6 uses six for additional stability, and implant-supported dentures are a removable alternative. Dr Ope will recommend the optimal solution during your consultation.
How much does full arch treatment cost?
Full arch treatment ranges from £18,000 to £28,000 per arch depending on the technique used. All-on-4 starts at £18,000, while All-on-6 starts at £22,000. Implant-supported dentures are available from £8,000.
Can I have both arches treated at once?
Yes, both upper and lower arches can be treated in a single surgery. This is often preferred by patients as it reduces the total treatment time and number of appointments.
How long does full arch treatment take?
The surgical procedure takes 2-4 hours per arch. Same-day teeth are provided in most cases. Final teeth are fitted after 3-6 months of healing.
What happens to my remaining teeth?
Any remaining teeth that cannot be saved are extracted on the day of your implant surgery. You will leave with temporary fixed teeth, so you are never without teeth.
